Three senior figures at Team Penske IndyCar squad have left amid consequences from the Indy 500 qualifying scandal unfolding. The team was fined $200,000, as drivers Josef Newgarden and Will Power had to start from the rear due to illegal modifications found on their cars. Team President Tim Cindric, after 26 years with the organization, is among those departing post scans. Managing Director Ron Ruzewski and General Manager Kyle Moyer are also leaving after 21 and 11 years, respectively. Penske is set to announce more personnel changes ahead of the Indianapolis 500, following organizational failures addressed by Roger Penske and IndyCar President Doug Boles.
